Hey guys.  I am in the middle of my SPOA project and my rear two leaf springs had the steel bushing rusted out and locked up inside the bushings.  So I have my new bushings in but need to replace those four spacers.  Anybody had to do that and where can I pick them up? 

Most of the Samurai vendors offer replacment bushings.

I bought my bushings from JT Outfitters via ebay.  They were just the bushings and did not come with the steel inserts. 

I looked back at their site and they state this:

"This is a great bushing kit. This is all of the bushings to fit your Samurai, 24 in total. These are excellent bushing that will last much longer than stock. These polyurethane bushings are black with grease grooves. We use them and they work great. We use these with either stock or aftermarket shackles."

So I am wondering since these are greasable bushings is it possible that with these you do not use the steel spacers?  I shot them an email with the same question.  Hopefully I'll get a response. 

Unless you know exactly what you are doing and the product description is extremely clear, you often end up wasting money on ebay.

Known Suzuki afermarket vendors (& some do sell on ebay!) are the safest way to buy upgrades for your truck!  They all live and die on their reputation as a business that deals fairly.  Ebay has too many fly-by-night types who "hope" to strike it rich without doing much work in the process.

I would give Hawk Suzuki a call.  They are my personal favorite, especially when replacing existing parts.  But you really can't go wrong with any of the aftermarket sights listed on the front page at Zukiworld.com  I have dealt with most of them or their parts at one time or another over the last few years and it's worth the extra 10 dollars or so over e-bay most of the time.

I don't have a problem buying via ebay.  I take responsibility for what I bought and I have bought parts from this guy before and haven't had a problem. 

The metal inserts are only on the inside bushings.  The bushings on the shackles do not have inserts.  So I am not sure how critical they are.  Also since these are greasable I am thinking that having the metal insert really negates having a greasable bushing.  Just some thoughts.
