The tach you picked up should come with some instructions, It will connect up to your coil, quick and easy.

... wire an aftermarket tach in a 1994 Samurai... ?
For a SunPro 2 5/8" tach -- 4 wires: +12V, +12V dash lights, ground, ignition coil (Brown/White) on my '93. Fits perfectly in a 2.5" hole. Held in place with a bead of clear RTV around the mounting ring before insertion.

The wiring will
probably
be similar, and the only way to be certain is to get the manufacturer's instructions

Here is a link to a image that i have from my 91 EFI. The blue wire (should be green on most) is from the tach and it connects to the brown (middle) wire on the connector. Just splice it in as the brown wire is still required by the ECM.
