I have a 1992 Sidekick, 4 door JX model.  I love it. it only has 130,000 miles on it with little rust. (surprisingly for the age )  Here is my dilema.  I have a chance to buy a 2000 Chevy tracker with 85,000 miles on it and a blown engine for $1500.  I found an engine for $800.  So I should have about $2500 in a 2000 tracker when all is said & done.  Should I go for it or be happy with what I got for now?

A 2.0  engine has more power than my 1.6 16 valve, but are there any other advantages to the tracker? Do they work as well off road?  I noticed that there are no "hubs" to lock or unlock, how reliable is the new system? All your thoughts will be welcome.
