Calmini 3" vs. Rocky Road Outfitters budget 3" lift kit
« on: October 12, 2006, 03:48:14 PM »
I've been looking around and trying to do some research about some pro's and cons to the complete 3" lift kits out there for my 86 tin top samurai.

The two that i've narrowed it down to is the calmini 3" susp. lift kit and the R.R.O budget 3" lift kit.

Anyone have any input on these two kits?

RRO gives you Deaver springs, then if you decide you needed that extra inch, you can put the bonz shackles on!!! If I were to stay spring under, thats the way I would go!!!

I'm running the RRO 3" budget lift with doetch tech shocks, I love it!! Great ride, awesome articulation, easy install. Plus, much better customer service at RRO.

thanks for the input everyone!  From what I've seen I will be a new customer of RRO's :)
Pretty soon I'll be having a winter project ready in time for bass season in the columbia river gorge and trout season up by Mt. St. helens.

thankyou very much for the input,

Daniel
