Hi guys, I just changed trannies in my 96 Sidekick 4x4 and now for some reason my shifter is super sloppy even when it is in gear.  I don't think there should be any sort of trouble ion the transmission, as it goes down the road fine when it's in gear, but the shifter can move all around as if it isn't actually in gear.  Another thing that confuses me is that this is the same shifter that was on my old tranny that was working perfectly before...any ideas of what I could be up against?

There is a little plastic bushing that sits on the ball of the shifter.....replace that!  I bought a new one from Chevy for $8.00.  It took care of all of my shiting slop.
