So far 97 4 door tracker
« on: June 12, 2016, 07:12:43 AM »
I would like to thank everyone so far for the help my little lemon is now finally running decent it's time for upgrading so far since I bought it I've had to replace ;
Sparkplugs
Alternator
All belts
Battery
Brakes all the way around ie rotors pads drums etc.
Rear axle seals
Camber bolts
And front/rear shocks and struts
And passenger mirror

With that being said she is pretty well oem stock, but has 31/12.5r15 tires looking to maybe go down to 30/9.5r15 maybe Goodyear MTr's and a locker/spool in the rear .. Keeping the suspension the same until I buy either the altered ego 4.5 ifs lift or was currently decided on trying to put Dana 30 front and 35 rear? Any knowledge would be extremely helpful as I've o my ever built fast cars "too me a Honda Civic v6 and a super charged Lincoln ls"
Thanks in advance
Levi

So how did you lay it on the side in that ditch?  Trackers are not fast, they can be made faster, but you don't need fast for off road.
Your plan is what I would recommend; drive it and enjoy what it will do, the when you can afford parts do it.  You will find they are pretty capable just stockish.  You won't get far in the "Island Cup", but you have lots of roads to run if your on Vancouver.

Where are you located?  I may be out to Bamfield later this summer.
