steering shaft boot

i guess its called the steering shaft boot...it is in the front of the car on the right of the radiator if u are looking at the front of the car...it is totaly destroyed on my car..like the boot has just rotted and fallen apart..should i change it??? if so what do i ask for when buying it??

Hmm... I'd like to know, too, since that boot has been ripped up since I bought my Tracker a year ago.

if its the one i think your talking about then no.  all it covers in a little joint in the steering shaft.  i havn't had mine sence i put my body lift in.

Mine's all torn up as well...
Had a cool sig pic till I changed the text... sigh...
90 Tracker: "Silver", 2" BL, 1-1/2" Coil Spacers, Strut mount flip, Calmini Header, Winch, 31" Swamper radials, Sold.
98 Suzuki X-90: Calmini 2" Sus, 1-1/4" whl spcrs, 2" Exhaust, Cobra Safari Bar, Neon, Sold.
96 Suzuki X-90: Mostly stock daily driver(for now)

ahh sweet...today is good then =) lol i thought i had ANOTHER problem to deal with...damn spark plugs
