Sticky 4wd
« on: April 03, 2004, 06:41:05 AM »
I have been having problems deselecting 4wd on my Vitara (Track/Kick). I put it back into 2wd but it stays in 4wd which causes the transmission to wind up. After a minute or so there is a big bang and it is free. It seems to be the transmission rather than the hubs (manual fwh) causing the problem. Anyone have any ideas as to what the problem may be?

Low speed, I generally only use 4w low so I have to stop to deselect.
