anyone done it i have already taken the seats out of both and taken the rails off of the tracker seats my plan is to cut the long brackets to the length of the other side and add a flat piece of metal to it wear i cut it off to fit the samurai rails anyone done it and done it different then i have?

I did  a transplant using the iZook article and it worked out pretty good!  Handy to have a wire welder, though.  The seats are a heck of a lot better than the old Sammyseats. 

The only beef I have is that you end up about 1.5 inches higher than you were before.  Even at 5'-9' it gets a little tougher to see the overhead traffic lights...  Then again, you have an all-around better view of stuff off-road.

Oh NO!  They adjust using the Samurai rails.

You buy two pieces of 2" x 11 gage or 1/8" x 18" steel plates for each seat.  Remove the slides from tracker seats, cut the tall legged side (the outside part) down to match the inside side's height, drill a couple of holes to match the samurai seat's sliding mechanism, weld the plate onto the Tracker seats and them bolt the seats in!  Actually it does require you to hold your mouth right a bit, but the result is fore-and-aft adjustable Tracker seats! 

Or you can sell the tracker seats and buy dodge neon seats the rails bolt to the front of the tracker seats and just have to modify the back of the seats to work. I bolted mine front and back that way when the seats wear out I can easily replace them.

that and dodge neon seats are a dime a dozen at any junk yard

the only problem I found with the dodge neon seats that I put in my sammy was the fact that they were taken out of a 4 door neon and they don't flip foreward to get into the back seat.  However I don't complain too much since I rarely need into the wasted space of the back seat much.
