Whats a Calmini lift worth

Got flagged down the other day in town with a guy that was wondering if I wanted to lift my tracker..Of course I do!!!
He said he had a 3" Calmini lift that was on his daughters sidekick, and that he pulled it off after she wrecked it.  He said the rear trailing arm on the passengers side was bent, but thought fixable. He says everything else is there and in good shape.  He wants 500 bucks for the kit.  I see new the kit is about $800,is this a good deal for a used/wrecked Calmini 3" lift.
Thoughts appreciated.

I'd give him 400 and no more then 450. Definetly worth it then. It seams like 500 would be a good deal seeing that the new one is 800 but who knows what you will have to go through to fix or replace that trailing arm.

Mostly depends on what you want and if there are any other "hidden" costs, like shocks, struts, alignment, tires, rims, etc. also is it a direct bolt? You don't say if yours is a the same year, model so I have to say that.

Shoot him a low price.... you can always up the $$$ but never back down. Worst he can do is say "Oh no I can't do that.

Be very wary of that bent trailing arm - from what I read Calmini won't sell parts of the kit separately, so if it's not fixable, you could be stuck with an usable kit - give them a call & find out before you agree on a price.

Offer him $200. All he can do is say no. Then you say, OK let it sit in the garage for another 2 years. $200 is better than scrap steel laying in the garage!!  ;)

Thanks for the thoughts guys!  I'll check with Calmini about replacement.  The kit is in Portland Oregon.

If you need parts rebuilt I can fab them stronger than calmini, I am building lift kits but they cost more than calmini

I Have a 3" Calmini lift. how much would you charge to re-arch 4 springs? they are sagging bad

The trailing arm is the same length as stock, its stronger and gives better ground clearance but it would be quite feasible to run the stock arms.

Used Calmini lift kits aren't worth shit, you better give me that guys number so I can give him a good talkin too!
