Will my rear springs fall out?
« on: March 07, 2009, 11:18:42 AM »
Hey Everyone 8)........Just one question. Recently I installed a OME kit with spacers for a total of 3" lift. When the rear suspension is at full articulation the Rear springs are loose with about a 2" space is this normal. ??? I contacted Rockey Road where I Got the kit and they said Its OK not to worry.Has anyone had the same issue. I don't think the springs would fall out but need some advice...... :police:.ZO6GUN

It depnd on the shocks, if you use Ome or doestech shocks for a three inch lift you will be fine if you use f150 or LTD shocks then yes they will fall out........

Hey John.....I think I will go with the Limit straps. Should I go from the top spring mount to the axle or from the shock mounts to the shock axle mount? ??? The shocks I used are the F150 because they gave a much better ride compaired to the Rocky Road shocks. :P Thanks for any help you can give me...... :police:ZO6gun

If you fit some sort of dislocation cones then you can keep the springs in place without loosing articulation
