have you got a spatk? if not place a jumper in the dignostic socket and check for a code 42 whilst cranking. If you have a spark then check the connections from the coil to the noise suppresor and from their back to the ECU. If the ECU doesn't see a spark it won't inject.

Is it a early Sidekick Tracker?

Most Likely you need the computer fixed from the faulty capacitors
used in their manufacture, they leak and corrode the traces that
makes the trucklet run.

There are several places that can fix them, or if you are a computer
savvy kind of person you can fix it yourself.

The computer is high up under the dash about where your right knee
is, it's the gold color metal box, so give it a go or get it pulled to be fixxed

Good Luck

The repair really just involves replacing the capacitors and repairing the
corroded traces with some soldered in wires to complete the circuits
once again.

You will see the corrosion when you pop the top off of the ECU, so
there will be no wondering IF that's the problem, post some pics before
you clean it up for documentation

Thanks

Those pic show the story, clean it up, neutralize the acid from the
leaky caps and fix away
