Zuke engine problem is no problem
« on: August 08, 2003, 12:34:24 PM »
Well, just before deciding to do the unthinkable and take my Zuke to a mechanic, I crawled underneath and decided to swap my fuel pump.  The guy that I bought it from had set up a fuel pump on the frame that was the primary, but he also had a line that was blocked off from the fuel pump in the tank.  So, I disconnected the inline going to the frame fuel pump, and low and behold, here's a damn piece of something that I've yet to identify lodged in the opening of the fuel pump.  It kinda resembles modeling clay.  Needless to say, I decide not to swap the fuel lines, but instead, hook back up the original fuel line, minus the foreign object.  Bingo, she runs like a top again.

Damn it's always the simple shit.  Thanks to all of you guys that were lending me advice.  Now it's time to do some trail running again.

;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
