Title: 89 kick hard to start after it runs

My kick has developed a problem.  After running for some time, when I try to restart the engine it is like no gas is there.  After pumping the pedal, it will start.  Any ideas on the cause and the remedy.

I would check your t.p.s. and your engine coollant sensor first, If you have a tbi system.
