Iam about to do a couple of things to my rig, and i was wondering what order i should do them in. Paint job, a better sound system, 2inch lift (nothin big), new floors (cuz its rotting), and thats about it. Thanx

You might want to work from the inside out. Maybe do your floors, then the sound system, then the lift and the paint job last.
-
The flintstones never had floors either, the engine at 5000 rpm is all the sound system you need and paint is for that space on the registration( says body color ) ;D
That being said I say go for the lift ;D
-
What kind of lift?
If you are doing suspension lift, then do the floors, the lift, the paint, and the sound system.
If you are doing a body lift, do the floors while you are doing the lift, and have the body mounts unbolted. It may facilitate getting to some of the areas you need to repair. Then the paint and the sound system.
Good luck, it sounds like a major project.

I'd agree with this one. Save the paint job for after the lift.

Fix the rust..fix the floors. Rust will break your toes.
Once upon a time I stopped on the side of the road in my old 91 sidekick. I didn't look behind me, but when I cracked the door open an inch to get out a huge fuckin 18 wheeler went flying by. Did't hit my door, but the wind and air pressure was so strong it just pulled the door from my grasp and pretty much folded it flat against the front fender. Its my own fault I shoulda looked and I shoulda held on tighter but I didnt and hindsite is 20/20.
Anyhow, I take the little truck to my uncle who owns a body shop and tell him the door aint closing right ever since the even. He looks and shows me that the sheet metal where the hinges attach to the body are all bent outa shape, so no wonder it doesnt close. I shoulda insisted he fix it right and take money for it, but instead he uses his hammer and leather-like hands to bend the sheet metal back into place.
While Im driving it over the next two months, I can constantly hear wind wistling from the door frame, but since water wasnt getting in the cab I didnt think too much about it. Then one day when I open the drivers door to get in the whole fucking door falls off the hinges and lands on my foot!!!
So here I am with broken bones in my foot and a door no longer attached to the truck. I try to line up the door to where the hinger are (were) and close the thing so the latch catches. Half a roll of duct tape going around the roof and under the belly like the ribbon on a christmas present to keep the door from falling off. I climb in through the trunk, drive myself to the hospital and the next day to my uncle to getting him to do the job right and take the fucking money.
The moral of the story is dont let rust get out of hand cause it will break your toes.
Oh yeah...then the lift then the sound system and leave the paint job till the end. Or why bother.

I think we can all learn from this.

That whole toe story reminded me of my "boonie car" I had on Guam, a 'Yota Tercel, the door hinge rusted all the way through and I swung the door open and it hit the deck about 1/2 inch away from my sandaled foot, I swear it woulda took my toe off if it hit it.
