How do you tell if your CV's are going or ball joints for that matter. I'm start to get a poping noise when turning. If it was the CV's would I also feel it the the steering wheel??? Any thing else I should look at.
Thanks
George

Hmm...
If you had an Anvil, you could swap your axles.
Is it just one side? That would be my guess.
If you don't have an Anvil, you have to replace the axle in question - about $70 after returning the old one, at NAPA.

A poping noise is usally a CV going bad.
Question: Do you have lockouts and are they unlocked? If so your front axils shouldn't be turning, so they shouldn't pop.

Black night runs a G/Vitara IIRC, so I suppose this is the down side to having an air actuated frond diff like the G/V. The C/Vs wear prematurely because they rotate all the time unnecessarily ?
I'd be throwing a set of FWH's on at the same time ;)

From the sounds of what eveone is saying I guess I will be needing to upgrade or down grade to man. hubs. As for the cv's I planed on replaceing them when I upgrade to steel front diff. So I guess I will be moving my time table up some.
Thanks,
George
