hey I was thinkin about this last night and with the front of my kick whether I do 2 inch springs or coils it changes the position of the A arm now does that change the geometry and thus change the handling characteristics? I would think it would be choppy well choppy er

It alters the camber of the front suspension. You can get camber correction bolts to put it right. If you do a search there have been a couple of threads about this that give some places where you can buy them.

Alters castor too - more castor helps your rig drive in a straight line on the freeway. It does not effect it too much but it does reduce the castor slightly ;)

When I did my old 4" lift using stock arms I welded some tabs on the end o fthe arms and welded up the original holes. Then I drilled new holes 15mm further out than stock - castor was still out though but it drove Ok :)
