from the front

Neither does this one ;D
-
biker,
are those 34 x 9.5 or 10.5?
I'm running tj coils in the rear. what do you have?
-
I here about people are running TJ coils and getting 4"- 4.5" of lift. What shocks are you running with the TJ coils? How much lift do they give? Are they the front or rear coils from the TJ? Thanks

I'm not positive - but it looks like it belongs to the owner/site admin of this site http://www.canzuk.ca/forum/ Her name is Lucy. I've seen a few pictures and it looks just like hers.

I'm running 9/34-16 TSL's on 7" rims with coils from the front of a Jeep pickup. The coils are 5" longer than a stock rear coil and give about the same in lift. I'm using the longest cheap shock from monroe but I don't have the part number handy. There is a bit more info on mine in the readers rides thread at the top of this section.
-
I have stock rear tj coils on custom built mounts. I only have about 3" of lift but that would depend on where you mounted the brackets. I just set the ride height where I wanted it.
The shocks are cheap gabriels, (don't have the part # handy but they fit a 2000 f-150)

how is the ifs/cv's holding up to the 34's?? i thought 31's felt a bit scetchy!! :o
-
I HAVE BROKE I CV,THE PASS SIDE OUTTER,BUT THAT JOINT WAS NOT IN THE BEST SHAPE.
I HAVE ALSO ONLY TAKEN IT OUT 1 TIME WITH THE 34S ON IT. I WILL BE GOING OUT AGAIN SUNDAY AND WILL POST PICS AND DAMAGE REPORT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. ;D
-
I have wheeled with 34 a bunch and haven't had any trouble. However my front is open and I am running an automatic
-
I haven't broken 1 cv since I swapped in the auto in mine(knock on wood) before that I had a 5 gal bucket full of broken ones. ;D I just put in the 4.24 t-case gears so I guess I'll find out the weak link soon enough

OOPS ;D
-
thats the thing. I'm running NO suspension lift and HAVE NEVER BROKE A CV IN 3 YEARS! I normally take out one front diff a year but that is a 45min fix(air tools 8)) and i'm back on the trail. I also have all stock front diff. no locker in front. i wheel HARD about 4-5 times a year, but it is in mud so you guys are putting alot more stress on them in the dirt and on the rocks.

What did you mean, by "Frame Tuck"?
think of it like this:
it has a 3 inch body lift in the ends and NO bodylift in the middle. best i can explane it without pics.

So if I am seeing this right in my head ( ??? ) did you have to raise the engine mounts 3" to make that work?
