Man,
Every time I go to post a pic of anything, it fu*ks up >:(. I've tried using Explosivo's upload.eye-irritant.com and I've tried the uploader at 100megsfree5.com where I've gotten an extremely slow start on the LMS website. Neither will work. I always get the litte red x in the box!!
Can any of you guys who know a bit more about message boards tell me how to make my pics work, please??

Make sure you have the pic placed in a public-viewable area, then be looking at the pic where it's posted. Right click the pic and select "properties". then in the properties, copy the URL of the pic by highlighting the link, right clicking it and selecting "copy". then go to where you want to post it, start a new topic or a new reply and click on the image button above. you get this without the spaces: [ i m g ] [ / i m g ]. In between the brackets (these ones: ] [) paste your url from the pic by placing the mouse in between them, right clicking and select "paste". That should work...

Photobuckt has worked very well for me you could try it. ::)

You might want to try to rename the pic's without spaces or something (if you haven't tried allready) some bbs's don't like spaces and other things in names that aren't letters.

If you've tried eye-irritant in the last few days, then it might be the issue that we've been having with it... a bunch of files are set so that no one has permission to view them, so you might try re-uploading them.

Well, are you doing it right?
For instance, I just stole the properties for your avatar photo - they are:
http://www.eye-irritant.com/august2004/Picture010.jpg
Now, I'm going to enclose them in {img} and {/img} except, i use a [ where you see the { and a ] where you see a } so it is like this:
{img}http://www.eye-irritant.com/august2004/Picture010.jpg{/img}
Here it is with the square brackets:
(http://www.eye-irritant.com/august2004/Picture010.jpg)
Like that.

Yeah, that's how I'm posting. I'll try to eliminate spaces from my pic names, reupload on eye-irritant, and also try Photobuckt. Thanks for the suggestions guys
