Hey everyone, well im in the middle of doing a spring over on my LJ and wodnering..... what kinda shocks to use
on my sidekicki used a set out of a crown vic and im wondering what i can use i think i will get about 5" of lift so i guess i need shocks 5 inches longer??? what should i get?? im tight on cash as it is a low budget project, dont really wanna spend the money on ranchos......

When I did my SPOA on my SJ I used Monroe's. I can not remember the model but I will check if you want - they have 11" of travel stock and nice light dampening characteristics :D
Good fit too. Although they have an eye at the bottom and a spigot at top. Will need some fabbing in the rear :P

i had rancho 1000's in mine for a while,,, but if i was you and doing the spring over id just imboard them, that way you dont need shocks with much travel.. just measure the distance between mounting points and find a shock which will fit in there while having as much drop out as it does stuff... if that made any scence... also i might have a couple shocks here that fit... u can have em free, there monroe's
