im building a 02 grand vitara with 35in krawlers, toyota axles, 5.29 gears, qa1 coil springs trail tough t case, spool in the rear detroit up front, and lots more. i have a question about my steering. im trying to stay with the stock pump(was for pwr st rack) and im using a tracker gear box drilled and tapped for hydro assist and im hoping the pump will be enough for this. has anyone tried this before? there isnt much room for anything with the v6 sitting so close to the frame and the pump is buried in the engine. any answers will be very helpful ....thanks
-
Just curious how 35's are going to fit under an 02, aren't they unibody? You cutting it up? :D
-
:) It's been working fine on my 95.

a little more help

ok ive got it but says its to big
-
ok im getting better with this computer crap

:o That is sweet!!!! How are the toy axles width wise? Did you have to modify them? Are they from an 80's mini truck or something else?
-
toy axles are from a 85.stock width. i need to make the track bar longer i left it short until i make sure everything fits. it actually is comming along nice. i started this project trying to get it finished in 1 month so that leaves me only a couple weeks to finish the suspension bumpers t-case driveshafts and all the minor stuff.

It looks like the rig could possibly be street legal when your done. That's cool..

Nice! Can't wait to see what it looks like when you're done. I may have to get me a newer 4 door for my SAS dreams. :D
-
HOLY CRAP!!! :o
That is badass man!
Not much for fuel economy though. I noticed a bit of a dip in mine just with 29 inch BFG's.
However, looks like you could go just about anywhere with that badboy.
Good luck on the rest of the build.
-
here some pics with the front finished
-
looks quite gnarly
-
This thing is so freakin gnarly that my socks have been completely rocked off and I can't find them now, maybe they're in the other room. The SAS made me leak a lil, and the coils made me crap my pants. Now the computer area is a mess. Thank you for the sensual stimulation.
Maybe I don't know what to click, but those last pics were tiny!
-
Photos look great!
But can they be larger please? :D
I need to have a better, closer look up in there!!
Keep going offlimits4wd, seems to be a nice work there!
-
sorry didnt notice they where so small. il redo them when i get home
-
looking good man, I will get over there and check it out.

-
ill try not to park it back with all of the other trucks and let it rot
