Title: Ignitor problems

Just got a 87 Sammy and one day it wont start anymore, was told to look at the ignitor and generator inside the disty cap.  I did that and it looks like it had been replaced recently was just wondering if the ignitor or generator is a problem area for sammy or what the story is?

They are pretty reliable. Your plug wires and cap usually go out first.
