ive had it sitting for almost two months with the battery disconnected and went to start it today and it wont fire. turns over fine. is there some kind of security system on it? its a loaded limited v6....thanks

These cars can have some issue after sitting for a while. The 2 times that I left mine sitting for 2-3 weeks it took probably 5 minutes of cranking it on and off before it would fire up. I'm sure sitting for 2 months and a wreck would make it even more difficult.
After that initial startup it worked fine with no problems.

my 2000 GV does that too. When it was my grandpa's he had it sitting outside of his garage for about a week or more and I had to move it and it took forever to get it started. Also, if you are parking it and you happen to stall it while doing so, it's best to start it up right away if you are planning on leaving it parked there for more than a few minutes. I was moving mine one morning and I was using the fast idle RPM's to get it moving and not using the gas pedal and as I backed up a small hill in my front yard it stalled and i just left it all day. at the end of the day, it would not start. had to crank it with the gas to the floor to turn it over, took quite a while. Still runs great so I guess it's just a little wierdness thease 2.5 V6's have
