OK I have a 3 " Calmini lift and need to get new front struts. I'm leaning heavly towards the OME struts but should I still use the 2 1/4" strut spacer with the OME struts. Or run the OME struts and do a flip mod? I understand that the OME's are 1 1/5 longer. What would be my best option ??? I do jump it ;D

I run OME struts with the spacer on my Calmini 3" but it is definately at the limit. If you are worried then just do the strut mount flip with them. Even better though would be the spacer with Toy driveshafts.

What toy driveshafts do you run???

I bought OME struts to use with my Calmini kit but with the 2" strut spacers they gave too much drop for the stock CVs. I went back to the stock struts.

Nobody else runs this setup? I would think that it had the best of both worlds ???

I run them, but I have alot more done to my ride than just the lift. I think the OME's are 1.5" longer and you Calmini strut drop is 3". So if you removed the Calmini upper strut drop, Flipped the factory upper mount, and used the OME struts, it should put you close to the correct drop without over extending.
Has any one tried this? It seems correct to me :-\

The Calmini strut spacers are 2". The OME struts do give about 1 1/2" more and the top mount flip gives about 3/4" extra drop. I reckon you could get away with the extra 1/4" OK. You have to be a bit careful when you measure the CV angle though. If the shaft is aligned with the splines then it looks like you get more drop than you really have.

Thanks guy's, Hey Zig I have the steel front setup/Trailtough locker with the Hagen widening. I might have gone a little further out though than the normal on the widening. Well I just ordered some KYB's I'll try those first. They say that they are a little longer but not as long as the OME's. I'm also building a strut brace since I seem to bend the towers now ::)
