I had a selonoid can that came loose from the
crimped plastic end cap where the electrical attach,
let me down one time in a white shirt at church >:(
I replaced the whole selonoid with a wrecking yard
one off of a Metro, the starters don't interchange, but
the selonoid did, it's been fine ever since.
You might also replace the battery cables with some
nice big fat ones, this will help get maximum amps to
the started, and hot cables are known to cause that
problem too.
