Hey,
I found some 31" swampers and im wondering if they will clear with a 3" body lift and NO TRIMING.
Thanks alot
-
I had a 3" body lift with 1.5" suspension lift and didn't have any problems with 235x75's.
They're in between 29-30" tall. Depends on width of rim and tire manufacturer.
-
You have any pics of it??  I'm wondering how it would look. They look like a cross between and BFG mud and a maxxis mudder. they will be going onto the stock rim with the holes in them.

Here are 235's with no lift.

That looks pretty slick man. I just picked up my 235/75's last week. Sometime this week I plan to get 15x7" rims.
Tell me, did you have any problems with rub with the 235's? Im not planning on doing a lift til the summer.
-
I put 235 ATs on OEM alloy rims on my wife's unlifted Kick. The tires just touched the frame at full turn. She said it still looked whimpy next to mine and I had to lift it for her. ;)
-
What does a 235 mesure? around 30"?
I'm thinking that the 235's might be a bit too small.
-
considering you're concerned about rubbing and trimming, 235's would be the best size with little lift.
-
235s are usually around or under 29"
-
This is also with 15x7 wheels with 3 3/4inch backspacing
235s with 3"inch body lift

Little rub on bottom of front bumper and top of rear fender when loaded down (use as a p/u ;D)

looks good man /\
The bottom picture is what my track'll look like soon. 15 x 7 Rims, 235 tires.

i say you would need a weee bit of trimming on the front bottom edge of front bumper.
Its the bottom edge so no one will see it trimmed.
-
You might have to trim a little in the rear of the front inner fender, there is a pinch weld you might have to either trim or fold over with a hammer. Depending on rim width, you might get away with not trimming the outer fender ;D
-
Well, I don't have the stock bumper, I have a custom made one that gives ALOT more clearence then the stock one. I want to stay away from cutting but hammering or bending might be ok on the back of the inside fender. There Super Swamper TSL SSR's.
-
i Have a 2" suspension and 31 mtrs. all i needed was a little inspiration with a hammer on the inside of the fender wells (doesnt look bad at all) and a trim of the front bumper corner edge plastic. if you hit a bump just right it still rubs occasionaly (like if you are turining and going a little quick in the driveway) but besides that no prob. have a good one.

Heres another pic

Here is an interesting picture
in the front in this pic are 31" Swamper LTB's (2.75" backspace 15x8 rim)
and on the rear are Maxxis mudders 235x75 stock rim
this is with NO trimming, and 2" suspension lift (BDS) NO body lift
The fronts would roll, but not turn, had to trim bumper and rear of front fender
With a 3" body lift, I would say just a corner or two and a little beat back and you will be fine.. choose your wheel and backspacing carefully... how wide are the SS's??
