Now to find time to slap these puppies in...

thanks Big Pig, and ESPECIALLY mrfuelish...

Hope the weather is nice this week, these will have to go in, in my driveway I think...

I have to replace a broken axle/CV from the Badlands anyway... :D

Waitaminute.....what are those out of again?  I thought the 5.62s came from an early Sidekick.  That ring gear sure looks a lot meatier than the one in the center of this infamous XL-7 / Vitara / Samurai photo.  If the 1.3 liter kick's ring was as thick as an XL-7's, what had that puny ring gear below?  Is it just a matter of ratios?

I've clearly got my facts screwed up somewhere.

I kinda thought it was beefy looking, but I checked and it isn't a 5.83  it's definately a 5.62

I will take shots of the 5.12's when they come out, but I just went out and looked and they look a LOT beefier than the picture of the diff in the center of that pic

My 5.62's looked pretty hardy when I took them out a few years ago to replace the bearings.

yeah, I have looked at a few other pictures online... even some 5.12's on ebay, and they ALL look a lot beefier than the center picture in that line up...

what gives?  Wonder what R&P that is in the center there?
