just wondering what the biggest set of tire a stock 93 JX sidekick 4x4 would take? goin to get some tongiht and don't wanna be rubbin the wheel wells. had 2225 75 15's in mind. would these be ok or would one size bigger even be ok?

235/75/15

235/75x15's look really good on a stock Kick...
Maxxis Buckshot mudders are a really nice tire to consider if you are planning to offroad it at all, and they don't sing on the highway.. I really liked mine before the "go bigger" bug bit... (damn thing is itching again too....)

got some kumo 235's drive nice and agve it a nicer stance thanx for the infor guys

I just got my 235/75/R15s Sumitomo HTR ATs mounted today. On a 15x7" rim, they will rub if you try to flex :)
On stock rims, it should be cool though.

What backspacing, and where is it rubbing?

Someone should make a tech article about tire sizes and sticky it.

I agree on this and just for grins they should also list the vehichles that come stock with 5x5.5 lug patterns for all the neww boys and girls ;D

15 x 7, 3 inch BS. They rub on the plastic pieces on the inner fenderwells during hard turning and and the front right side of the bumper (front bumper is slightly twisted, thats why, lol)
Also, any rear flex drags the lugs on the fender.

hmmmm, sounds like you might have some coil sag... what is the ACTUAL height of your 235's?? they vary.. should be a touch less then 29...
I can see the rub on flex in rear, with the 7" with 3"bs... that makes sense with 3.5 they would probably be inside the wheel well... or maybe 3.75
