Will a Jeep CJ snow plow setup easily convert, or install onto an '88 Sammi? One of my work colleagues said that the Sammi was essentially inspired by an early Jeep or Willys, so a late 70's or mid 80's CJ snow plow setup just might be (with some adaptations) compatible. If so, my proprosed Sammi plow/yard goat need not look pretty, only functional. Any other donor systems compatible, e.g. Scout, Bronco II, Ford F 150?? Any help or input or experience would be helpful and appreciated.
Thanks,
Rick ÂÂ

Them is fightin' words. ;D
I would think the plow might be a little wide. That being said if you want to put the time into it anything can be made to fit. ;) As far as width a scout 80 or a scout II might be a little easier conversion. IH was a tractor company. 8)

Anytime. I think that you will find the "turf stuff" to be fairly non-existent here. We actually like Jeeps........They are fun to pull out of Mud pits. 8)

Years ago, Meyer(now diamond as well) had a mount kit for the samurai, I'm sure getting one would be difficult now. it was the 6' and 6.5' blades, electric/hydraulic.

The RRO is a really good deal because it should be easy to mount.....
Anything can be made to fit with enough work, so its a question of what your time is worth.
Personally I hope RRO will eventually have a full control power unit. I hate getting in and out to adjust things. There was a samurai with a full power plow unit on ebay, but it went over 6k for a stock 93......seemed to pricey just for a plow trucklet.
