Hey guys I was just thinking If it would be better to extend the rear trailing arms on a kick or add Jonny joints to the front of the rear arms for extra flexxxxx. I have seen some with the longer arms but none with Jonny joints why? Pros and cons please would help me make the decision ???.

Sorry for the bad pic. Yes I know it's Erics

Considering if they were longer and just moved up and down to keep the axle located in the center, i would figure that a stock style bushing would work fine. Johnny joints would also work great, but probably not worth it unless you're doing a new upper A-arm as well.

Jonny joints are expensive and usually quite open to the elements. The stock rubbers are likely to be more durable. With longer arms the axle moves in less of an arc so wheelbase is maintained and clearance problems at full stuff are reduced

I've got a set of discontinued poly bushings for the rear trail arms, from OME. i don't think they'll ever wear out, especially on the shelf they're on (haven't installed them yet).
