just came across this 99 5door in quebec sitting on 35x15s

That is pretty sweet. He's got a hitch as his front bumper... I love it.
Makes me wonder if an Anvil with Toy Hybrid CV's would hold up to 35's to keep the IFS :o They look so good on 35's
Can't wait to see more pics of offlimits4wd GV finished on 35's... makes me wish I was a mechanic and not a computer geek ;)
-
im sure there would be away to stuff them under
-
hmmm. let's see. 3-4" of lift + 3" body lift, then cut the fenders.... off ;D
-
Well Rocky Road is comming up with some new CV's that can hold up under greater angles without problems, that should let us run 4 inch suspension lifts? + the 2 inch body and you have 6 inches :)
-
the CVs will be well over priced... jsut use the CV conversion kit to use toy CV;s there much stronger and should beable to handle the 6 inch lift no prob..its not the body lift that the prob its the suspension lift thats messing with the CV's...once i get my 2.5 kit i plan on puttin the 2" spacers on it and running the toy CV's so ill have 3" body, 2.5 suspenion and 2" spacers..lol maplebar im in the same boat as your.. lots of technical knowledge just not of the right kinda... computers dont help us much with Vitaras
-
I'm a techie too :) But I try to do as much mechanical stuff as I can :)
-
Me too, I'm installing my own coil spacer lift. Until then the most I have done is a 30k service.
-
i did my own body lift.. working on some skidplates then installing the calmini when i get it...or try too
-
Yeah, I just did the body lift. Customizing some tube bumpers to bolt up tot he front and back and just made some 2" coil spacers. Also have to replace the head gaskets in a bit and change the trans fluid/filter in week.

That '99 looks awesome with the 35's. 8)
-
That thing's awesome.
It's just a regular Vit though, not a Grand Vit. I wonder how the 2.0 copes with those huge meats.
