Title: Tracker on 33's
Post by: hobgoblin on March 25, 2006, 08:29:15 PM
Hello All,

Just got a set of 33's and thought I'd post a few pics...Kinda dark but I'll get some more tommarrow. Might take her wheeling...These pics don't do it justice...It's got 14" ground clearance from the frame ;).

Yep...$150 for 5 tires and wheels....I need these to put on the fullsize so I can steal the Wild Country MT's that have about 2500 miles on them...They look like BFG MT's....I had to get the sawsall out just to make a turn...Hate to see when see starts flexing...I bet she will be trimmed up like yours...LOL

I want to see it from the side... for sure...

What gearing are you going to use? Is that an Auto? or a 5 speed?  TC Gears? (you will need something with 33's..)   I bet you have that thing on Yota axles by this time next year.... lol...

OK, how much for a bumper........  looking goood................

Carve out some of those lugs...... ;D

We had a blast today out at our local spot..  (Haspin Acres)

check out the Adventure Forum post Tom.. you will have to come into town, bring me my bumper  ;D    and I will take you out there!!

Quaddawg,

I got just as much clearance on the top as you but the back side of the fender...I got it cut 2'' back and 4'' up from the stock rocker molding...I think I'm going to move the A-arms forward and if I have to move the floor pans back...As for the Yota axles....Got a Ford 9'' with floating axles at the shop....but it's 5x5 bolt pattern. And my brother wants to keep it....But I bet I can get it ;) And there's six 9'' housings out back....I'd like to build a 9'' anvil style housing with yota CV shafts :o. I got a set of used A-arms coming....to make a jig off of...Can you say DOM tubular frt Arms and no STRUTS!!!! I got a top secret project brewing....Those are just some hints..... ;).

Thanks,I made it!!! I got sliders but there not on there yet....I made Quaddawgs they look great.
Been working at the shop all night....Got the back bumper on there.. and the jack mount is finished...Still have about 2 hours left on the rear bumper...But It's cool, you set the jack down inside of the bumper. ???..I know sounds funny but guess you will have to wait to see it...
OK Mike,I'll trade you rides and I'll throw in the bumper ;)...LOL When my tracker grows up it wants to be just like yours ;D...You need to tell me what you feed it...I feed mine well but it just don't grow that fast...LOL,But I just took the temp tags off today so I've had it 90 days.

The best part is that you are building it yourself.. down to bending the bumpers and such... that is what really rocks..

I really need to buy some more equipment...  ;D

I am jealous...

Looking Good  8) Sweet looking bumper  8) Good to see somebody else likes the pre-runner look.  ;D Nice 90 day build, if you keep this kind of work going on it, you'll make Mike look bad in no time  :o ;D

The looks really awesome.

Doesn't look like you had to do alot of trimming either (well at least what I could see from the pics)

OK, shure ::)....I need to get some pics of Mikes ride ;).....I like it...But I think he's got plenty on me...If it wasn't for his posts and such I wouldn't have had the ideas to build it.I just wish I had more time to work on it....I only get thursday and sunday nights....and I take full advantage of the hours...The rest of the time I'm thinking about what to do....The front bumper was a quicky...but turned out cool.I need to widen the front end...See there again Mikes Ideas.....So I owe him for the Ideas ;).
