Hi,
I drive a 2006 GV 2.0 with autotrans and 4WD. The mileage is now at 10000 km and it is due for servicing.
I notice that 1 get vibrations (mild) whenever the car is between 80 to 90 kph, in both the 3rd and 4th gears. The vibrations appear when I accelerate between 80 to 90 kph. However, they disappear when I lift off the pedal even at those speeds.ÂÂ
I think it has to do with the engine/drivetrain setup and not wheel balance. The vibrations do not appear before and after 80 to 90 kph. The vibration pattern remains the same even after I rotated and balanced the tyres.
Anyone has the same experience or know why I get the vibrations? I have never owned a 4WD before so do not know if the vibrations are normal. As the car is due for servicing, am hoping to understand if there is a problem so that I can raise it with the workshop.
Grateful for any help anf thanks in advance!

I've been having some vibrations in mine too, but I don't know if it's the roads, tires/wheels, or something else.

Do the vibrations appear under the same conditions, only between 80 to 90 kph and only when accelerating durng those speeds? I'm quite certain mine are not due to the tyres or wheels as they have been balanced and rotated. Also, the vibrations should get more severe as the speed climbs. This does not happen.
BTW is your a 4wd with autotrans?

mine is 4wd w/ auto trans. i'm starting to think it might just be the nature of the suv. i'll try to take notice even more today at what speed, and how much vibration, etc.

I have a GV Sport 4x4 with the same vibration. Balancing the wheels has caused a vibration at low speeds. The dealer added wheel weights on top the original weights. I hope Suzuki can solve this problem. I have had friends ride with me and they too feel the vibration. Some think the tires are the problem. If you have had success solving this, I would like to know what your dealer did for you. The dealers here in california all balance the wheels. This lets them off the hook and leaves the owner looking for a solution.
