Title: Where is OBD2 Slot?

I had to buy a code reader for my 97 Kick.  $129 (CD) at WallyMart.

I understand that the OBD2 slot is inside the vehicle somewhere around the dash.

I have yet to poke around . . . can anyone point me to the location and what it looks like.

left side of truck. located at the lower part of the dash by the steering , little black plug port thingy

It's the think that when you remove the cap, looks like your Code Reader will plug into... 8)

yep, just under where the dash panel ends on drivers side. its as easy as plug and click connect. make sure to write down all the codes before you delete them.
