My Trackers horn stopped working. Im pretty sure its not the horn itself or the buttons on the steering wheel. I think its the relay or something like that? Anyone have any suggestions? Any instructions on where the relay is? Its pissing me off cus I drive a lot on this dark road where people piss me off a lot and I want my horn cus they cant see my finger!

Does everything else work on the dash? Maybe it's just the fuse?
Take a 12v test light clamp it to ground and the probe end in the horn connector.
Have some one push the horn button and see if it lights up.
-
Doh, forgot about the fuse. Yeah, everything else is working just fine, just my dad suggested a relay might have gone bad. Ill check the fuse though, Thanks! (hopefully its that, I wanna honk at people!)

I have rarely seen the wheel buttons go bad unless they're really dirty. Usually in a rig that gets wheeled offroad, the horn element fills up with mud and water and corrodes out. It will even look fine on the outside, but no longer work. I would use a test light like stated above or even a multi-meter. Hook the meter up to the horn wires and have someone hit the horn button and see if you have voltage getting to the horn. If so, you just need to replace the horn itself... All that the horn is to begin with is vibrating membrane, it's actually quite fragile. I usually end up adding cheap aftermarket dual trumpet air horns. For the same price as a replacement horn, I have one that's much louder and much more obnoxious! LOL!

Well, I rarely mud at all so it wouldnt be mud. I do hear a clicking that sounds like its from behind the radio tho when i hit the horn button. I was meaning to replace the horn anyway, too high pitch.
-
I'd recommend trying a different horn. I had about the same situation with my Tracker until this weekend. I kept hearing the relay click over by the passenger side of the dash center consol but no horn sounded. The horn looked like it was in excellent shape but I never got a peep.
I happened to have an aftermarket horn sitting around and hooked it up on Saturday. HONK! The horn went bad. I mounted the aftermarket horn to the passenger side fenderwell and rerouted the wires to it. This way it's better protected and since it's a more "American" sort of loud HONK instead of a little meep meep it's not being muffled.

my horn was making same clicking sound replaced the horn and all good. so i would say change horn if the horn relay is clicking.
-
Ah ha, my new horn works. It said low tone though! Still high pitched. Might bring it back for a deeper one, everyone laughed when it went meep meep. Thanks for the help.
-
Eh, lemme guess, one of those FIAMM horns? Their low tone isn't terribly low. In fact I can't tell the difference between the high and low tones. :P That said it's still a LOT louder, deeper, and less annoying than the MEEP MEEP horns they come with.
-
Still Meep Meep, upsets me. My old one is rusted on, I might just rip it out. Currently I have 2 horns, 1 works.
-
I mounted the new one on the passenger side fender inside the engine bay. The stocker I took off and threw in the trash. On our GV I did the same thing but left the horn on as there's NO way to get to it without removing the grille.
I say leave the thing and forget about it.
-
(the grill is pretty easy to take off)
Least you solved your problem dude.
Personally Im sick of the "meep meep" too.
I always thought an "ocean liner" one would be funny as hell.
Imagine a chick putting on makeup at a red light.
Thing goes green, shes doesnt move, so...
BOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!
