Title: Sami is sick
Post by: wheresmyhat on March 31, 2006, 06:46:10 PM
Sami is cutting out alot and no top end speed. Pulling the plug wire on number 1 affects the motor a little. Pulling plug wire on number 2 does not affect it at all. In fact i can have both off and the engine runs about the same. Compression check shows 180 across the board. I have spark at each plug and even swapped plugs around in case there was one bad. ???

try swaping the wires from the good cyl. to the bad. if it follows ,the wires are bad. caps can also cause this problem ;D

The wires are about 8 months old plus I swapped them around and still had the problem with the same cylinders. And if you do it at night you can defenitely see the spark.
