Title: What kinda Rpms should i be getting

Alright I think my 97 is running way to high at 60mph the tach reads 3500 at 65 its just shy of 4000. what should it be?? its a 1997 with 3speed auto

   My 95 16valve 3 spd auto with stock gears runs 4000RPM at 70mph on 215 tires.
   My 92 8 valve 3 spd auto with 5.12 gears runs 4000RPM at about 58mph (speedo says 60) on 235 tires.
