Title: Anyone turbo their 2.0 liter? Got questions, need help.
Post by: erik on April 08, 2006, 03:59:51 PM
I have a tube car with a 2.0 liter out of a 1999 vitara.  I'm in the midst of turboin' the engine.  I have a TD04H 13C that will run no more than 10 pounds through it.  I'm building a header for it right now.  I've heard that if I run a Vortech or Aeromotive SFMU with 4:1 puck and set the PSI to 36-38 running stock WRX injectors deleting the Vitara fuel rail spacers and using an inline bosch or pump off an F150 that this will provide the fuel management. Set the timing back a few degrees by adjusting the cam sensor at the back of the head and running NGK V-power spark plugs (BKR6E-11) for colder spark.  So anyone confirm this?

EWW FMU stay away from that man. Ur gonna be playing with that thing all day long and what u spend on gas u can spend on a good piggy back system.

What electronics u gonna use? the stock ecu and wiring ?

Just for simplicity I'm going to use the stock computer and my cut down harness.  I think the listed adjustable regulators will work well for this set up.

SMT would be a good stepp as its a piggy back and more reliable :)
