Anyone know how to get the rocker trim/fascia off of a 2-door?
I've taken it off other Trackers before but it was mainly me grabbing and ripping it off. I've got an interested buyer so I'd like to have it survive the experience. Any guidance?

on my 4dr there was little plastice screws on the bottom and one on the ends.
Once those are out, just wiggle it up and off.
There is some tin trim peices on the body that are spot welded on.
I removed those with a spot weld remover (basicly a little itty bitty hole saw that cuts the tin off around the spot weld)
and repainted it black.

How do you undo those little plastic clip things? Look like squres from the side but when you look from underneath the truck you can see something sorta sticking through the moulding?
I'm not terribly worried about the appearance. I can guarantee there's rust down there under these fascia. Mine are likely going to end up with a coating of some sort of bedliner after the rust is dealth with.

You have plastic clips holding yours on?
Or the plastic clips the screws go through that hold the trim on from the bottom?
Cause behind my trim was tin peices with lips that holds the trim up.

Looks like along the bottom lip there's some kind of plastic peice going through the rocker lip where the outside and inside meet. Looks like a plastic rod sandwiched between two flat plastic peices. I've heard the ticket is to grab the two flat peices with needlenoses while pushing the rod towards the outside.
I'll have to give it a try. 8)

That should have a little phillip head on it.
sometime it's hard to get the plastic screw to screw out.
Hope the pics help.
