If one was to cut everything above the window sills off and leave the windshield (Bronco/Scout style), would the windshield be able to stand on it's own? A full internal cage would be made, for safety reasons.
Just thinking about an open-air rig :)

I would think that it would 'flutter' some in the headwinds and cross winds. I suggest that you add attaching tabs to the top of the cage to the top of the windshield.
Only other problem, if you roll, the framing will MTL get damaged. Think exo? Exo also adds interior space as the bars are on the outside.

I have thought about an exo, but it requires a lot more material, and I like the looks of interior cages on open-top vehicles...
If I did roll, I can always cut the windshield and frame off one of my many parts trucks :P

what about making it fold down? ;D

That'd be an option if it was flat ;)
