I got it in the mail & had to put it on ;D

yup...made the rack at work.  1.25 aluminum tubing with a .125 wall, and the rest is .25 alum, cut, breakformed & rolled.  It's stuck to the roof with double sided tape & stainless carrriage bolts in the four corners through the roof with fender washers on the inside.  I used 3 tubes to distribute weight more evenly.  With a 2 x 10 up there, I can walk on the roof with little flex.  It's only been used for ladders & a canoe so far... I guess it's overkill, but, why not? ;D
