Title: WOOHOO 100K Miles
Post by: 99Trackerconv on April 18, 2006, 05:31:26 PM
Just turned over 100K miles on the Tracker!

Bought it in Nov of 2001 with 34K and now 4 1/2 years later its at 100K  :o

Just changed the oil and Sparkplugs today, and the air filter a couple months ago.

What else do I need to check/replace at 100K

Maybe a radiator flush, have you done all the fluids for the transmission and diff?   Spark plug wires, distributor cap and rotor.   Man, your at 100K on a 99?   I got a 96 and I just hit 90 K.   Bought it with 33K.

I don't have any Plug wires or a Cap and Rotor  ;) It's a 2.0

I drained and refilled the radiator about 6 months ago

5spd got synthetic at 75K but I do need to check it cause it's been a little clunkier than usual.  ::)

What do I need to do for the diffs?

Oh yeah the Tracker was our only vehicle for almost a year, and we also take a 1000K roundtrip vac. to my parents every 3-4 months

I actually don't believe that its at 100K already either. WOW thats about 15K a year :o

Cute.
Did you just happen to have a camera with ya that day?
Or planned it?
You were driving a little fast to be taking pics.
Not something I would do ;) ;D

I noticed the engine light on, tisk tisk.   Oh and with the diffs, change the fluid.   I did mine not too long ago, switched to synthetic.   I once saw a Camaro free up 8 HP at the wheel switching to synth diff fluid, seriously.   I doubt barely 1 hp on a Tracker, but just saying.
