yesterday i started to take off my bumpers, and was going to clean up all of that and the underneath in anticipation of my body lift,, but it did not go as planned. i cant even get the plastic bumper covers off let alone the rest.. im going to get some antiseize, but these things are a pain in the arse.. i cant wait until i have to take the body bolts off, im sure it will be a treat.
just thought id share my plight :P

Try some PTBlaster. I have been told it is good stuff.

PB blater is the best, cept for the stuff the ups mechanics use they call it panther piss ??? but it works really well.
I use PB blaster on everything that is stuck.

liquid wrench?

I've started to use the hot/cold method along with the PB blaster. You heat the nut (not bolt) with a small plumber's tank, then cool with water quickly. Do this 2-3 times, then add PB Blaster, wait 1-2 minutes, then try to remove. Make sure you remove any rust on the nut so that you won't strip it.....don't ask...

Even when I used PB Blaster (damn good stuff, as everyone knows) I still ended up ripping off both the bumpers and covers, because the bolts were in there SOLID, and I ended stripping nearly every bolt/screw.

Welcome to the world of Suzuki. If it ain't rusted on, it's stripped or stuck on with locktite.

hahaha yea, i tried removing some more bolts that are on my new wheels today, with the pb blaster too.... i finally got to the last two, and the damn bolt broke my drill bit, the bumpers are still on too.. so i decided that it is miller time.

So did Miller do a better job than you? ;D

well to say the obvious , i felt much better once miller time came around.. i left the 2 bolts on for now, and on tuesday i plan to have access to air tools, and better working conditions all around.. i hope it goes smoothly -- its just a 2" lift, 15x7 wheels, and 29's or 30's,,, i havent completely figured that one out.
