yeah, im pretty happy
(plus i feel that a lot of weight has been lifted off
my shoulders with ONE less thing to hassle over)

Ill be getting more shots when I give the car a good cleaning
The stance is totally hot.
I thought it looked good before but after it looks brutal!

How much were they?   They look pretty damned nice and expensive.

Wow, I actually like it....... lol... not my cup of tea, but I have to admit, with those wheels, everything comes together and I really like the way it looks.

I am not much for the street/tuner  "look" in most cases, but you pulled it off.. good job.

Hey, that doesn't look bad either.. and a profit, well, that is ALWAYS nice!

As for your comment about no offroading on your island..  I guess that is true on Maui (you are on Maui, right??)

But where I was living on the BI, I WISH I WOULD HAVE HAD A TRACKER!!!  It was only a couple miles from the pavement to my hut, but it took close to half an hour.. it was SLOW going! Scraped Lava, doesn't a nice road make!  Pot holes as big as my car... had to go aboubt a two miles an hour most of the way..  Back in that "subdivision"  there were very few folks living there.. and they were either dope growers, or tropical flower freaks.. little on the strange side.. but there were some cool Viet Vets, made living there worthwhile, as nobody screwed with your stuff at all, you could leave for months, come back and not a footprint near your hut... the Vets scared a lot of folk off.... Uh..... my point it, there was a lot of places to get off-road up on the volcano, outside the National Park, but still on the slope.. all I had was my Harley, an old Granada station wagon, and finally a little Datsun pick up.. which was PERFECT! but not 4x4...

Reminds me of another story, this was back in the early 90's and the mini truck craze was in full swing.  I remember I had to pay over a grand for this beat up little truck, and couldn't figure out why.. but I ended up selling it to a kid in a gas station... er.. this is getting a little long isn't it...  ANYWAY...  I pulled into the station, and this kid working there came up and said... (I thought...)

Hey bra, you wanna soda straw?

I said..."What?.. Soda Straw???"

No!!   dis tra...     so.......... dis.......... tra.........

WHAT????

DIS TRA!!!!   DO   YOU   WAN  TO  SELL  DIS  TRA!!!!

This went on for a few minutes... I couldn't understand a freaking word!!   LOL...

FINALLY it dawned on me.. He was saying

DO YOU WANT TO SELL THIS TRUCK

I said sure, what'll you give me??

Ended up getting 2g out of it, I sold it to him right before I left for the mainland.

yeah, the 17s were 5x114.3
(hence all my questions about bolt pattern swaps)
=D

And I assume the offroading on Maui is pretty good.
(mostly because theres a company called Maui Offroading)
but I live on Oahu so no idea there

BI would be the place for me
nice and cool... and peaceful
I could run the X on the roads and another tracker for hunting

but the pidgin always make da kine l'dat eh brah
;D
