so what is the biggest size tire i can fit on a stock '95 2dr 16v 5spd geo tracker?
also which lift would most benefit my new toy? a body lift or a suspension lift? oh, so much to do so little money lol.....

Is it a DD or for offroad only?

Stock no lift
235/75s (pics are 225s-coulda gone bigger then)

oh yeah - as far as what to do first i would go with the 235's and a coil spacer lift. then add a body lift on and 31" tires later.

But why buy tires twice?
I'd decide what you want to do with it, and decide what size tire you want.
Do your lift and then buy the tires/wheels. If you're not scared to trim the fenders a little, you can fit 31's with a 3" body lift, which is the cheapest lift($200 bought, or <$60 if you make it), plus you don't have to worry about longer shocks, strut extensions, alignments, etc. that you need with coil spacers.
Later on, you can always add a suspension system.

ok i forgot, it's not going to be a dedicated trail rig but more of a back and forth to work then go out and play some rig :D lol, so in other words it'll see a good bit of road also. but i do like to go out and play alot too and with that said nothing too serious though. just mainly fire roads and jeep trails and stuff. oh and i'm probably more inclined to shy away from trimming my fenders any. i'd hate to bugger it up. thanks guys, i love this place.... :D
p.s.- uncivilized, how would one go about making a body lift? any ideas of where i can find some info on that with possibly a list of things i'd need? i know some pretty competent machinists and wrenchers.

I got something on my cardomain page
(in the offroad section)
or im sure the search here will turn up something

just mainly.....and jeep trails......
If you're only driving on Jeep trails you could get away with a 2" lowering kit, and and sporty 50 series tires ;)
Body Lift:

(Note, both sides of the blocks need to be drilled to 1/2")
I made mine using 3"x3"x1/4" box tube, that's overkill, but I got it at a demolition yard, 4' for $9 I then cleaned it to bare shiny metal with a sanding disc on my angle grinder, and had it cut into 12 - 3" pieces at a metal shop, cost $10 cash to cut it. Painted the blocks black, bought the hardware at a fastener shop for just under $20, all grade 8 hardware.
