Title: Wolf Creek - Quines Creek
Post by: takai on May 07, 2006, 10:05:55 AM
It was a nice simple day. We encountered massive amounts of dust, a little water, and actually snow. All within a few miles.

Hey whats that white stuff under your trucks?  Looks like really clean sugar sand.  I've never seen sand so white looking like that in my life!  Got any gators?  Cabbage palms?  Armidillos?

Nope, Just a whole lot more opossums that I have ammo for.  And that is genuine, imported Oregon Crystaline heat pellets.  ;D

And yes we did just barely clear it. It seems to point to me wanting to lift it (I don't like the sound my diff made when it scraped on the rock) but, lift means tires, springs, regearing, and an annoyed wife while I finish the project..........Maybe later this summer.   ;D
