Title: 1.6 8V to 1.8 16V swap

I have a line on a sidekick sport. I did a search and it answered a few questions. The trannys are different so I will need to use the tranny with the 1.8.

The frames are wider on the sports so what motor mounts do I use?

Wiring? Will I have to do a complete dash/wiring harness swap? Also what about the air bags and ABS? I really don't want the ABS but If I have to swap axles as well then I will. Swapping to air bags is def out of the question!!

Do the sports have bigger brakes and axles than my '91 4 door?

You can get a cusom flywheel and use stocky tranny.

You will need dash harness and ecu, modify it with your existing one hence abs/bags won't be an issue, don't wire them up (they won't work anyway..well not without some work
