Title: Home made lift

I want |removethispart|@ least a 3"- 4" body lift. I would like to make it if it will save me money. How can i make it and what do i need to do?

dont lift the body!  :o, if ita sami, do a cheap spring over!

I have seen guys use the rollers from a boat trailer...you can get them from boat supply stores.
I can't imagine them being cheaper than a universal body lift though...they are only about $60-70 I think

Not to mention when you can get a 3" BL made for your vehicle, all parts included for somewhere around $120. I personally would not go through the trouble of working out the bugs for that much. But if your good at  fabricating it couldn't be to bad.

i made a 4 1/2" body for my tracker it cost me around $80 and a pain in the ass. anything more than 3" there are alot of issues with extending stuff. steering, gas filler, gas breather hose, shift extensions for tranny and transfercase, trying to get the rubber boots to work. buy a 3" body and call it a day.

Yeah, buy the calmini body lift and the Sky manufacturing coil spacers and call it a day...
