Title: Calmini Rear LSD for GV

Question why will the CALMINI GV rear LSD not work with the V6 grand vitras??

Does anyone know ??

I think you'll find the XL7 ring gear is much larger than the GV one so the carrier is probably larger too?. If you go in the sidekicks and trackers yahoo group  and look under the files section there are some photos that Yankee Tim posted to show the difference of XL7 Vs Sidekick 3RDs.

What are the two smaller ones?
That XL-7 carrier is so sexy :-*, I can just imagine the things I could do with it ::).

The question still asked guys what is the difference between th 4 cyl and 6 cly GV?

Little one is Sammi, mid sized one is Kick/GV, big one is XL7. Doesn't say if GV V6 and XL7 use same gears. Anyone?

As per Tim (if I rember right) they are Sidekick, GV , and XL-7.  That's order in the pics.

Sorry all GV's in the US are v6's the Vitara had the 4 cly.

You know what that frist one has to be Sam as their are no holes in the top to mount to. Knew some thing looked funny about that frist one.

I'm just quoting what it says in the description of the pics. I guess that means GV V6 and XL7s are different then ???

Yep, the XL-7 has a larger rear R&P that's why no rear lockers for them. I also heard there was a change the GV's in 2003 that prevents them from fitting their R&P's to the Kick center.

I've heard that ARB has something in the works for the XL-7 but who knows when or if it will be out  :-/
