Title: 1.6L Conversion/Smogging
Post by: ADavis on February 13, 2005, 02:57:41 AM
Hey all, I have a 71 bronco that I am selling to get a Zuki.  I already have a geo tracker with the 1.6L fuel injection, lockers, ect. that I would really like to put into a sami.  I have a couple of questions first.  (1) How do you get the sami's smogged with the 1.6L engine.  (2) Can you transfer all the fuel injection and everything (ac, power steering) from the Tracker?  Also, any recommendations on any write-ups or websites on sami upgrades and conversions would be very helpful.  Thanks for the info all.

In most states, you need to keep all the smog stuff  that came on the newer engine.

I don't see why not, thats how you get p/s in Sammies. But, the A/C may not fit into the dash of the Sammie.

Just keep asking those questions here and they will all be answered ;D
BTW. Welcome aboard.
